This article is meant to provide general trouble-shooting advice if you encounter issues with loading the staking portal or performing an action on it. There are various factors which play a role - therefore there are many different things which can interfere. The solution would depend on whether you are staking on mobile or on desktop, which wallet you are using etc. If you are not able to solve your issues with the advice here, then please contact us and provide us as much information as possible so we can assist you better (wallet used, browser used, what kind of error, screenshot etc).
- Using web3-enabled browsers such as Brave or Opera is not recommended. If you must use Brave browser though, here's a tip to troubleshoot MetaMask issues. For best results we recommend using Google Chrome and it's MetaMask extension.
- Trying to access the staking portal while using VPN causes interference. We recommend switching off VPN while you use it.
- If you're using a hardware wallet such as Trezor or Ledger, make sure you have the latest version of the Trezor/Ledger firmware.
